Life doesn’t have to be DULL. Make it
Seriously Sharp!
Why Choose Us
Hi, I’m Joline. My husband Scott, our children, and I moved to Florida from Maine in 2015. With over 35 years of experience as a cosmetologist, I understand the importance of well-maintained tools. Back in 2008, when I couldn’t find anyone who could properly sharpen my tools, I took it upon myself to learn everything I could about the sharpening industry and clipper repair.
Before moving to Florida, we ran a very successful business in Maine. Since our relocation, we’ve been proud to help our friends and neighbors with their sharpening needs, and we’re excited to extend that service to you.
At Seriously Sharp, we combine decades of expertise, a deep commitment to quality, and a personal touch to ensure your tools perform at their best. We look forward to serving you and providing the high-level service you deserve.

How often should I sharpen my knives?
It depends on usage and the surface you’re cutting on, but home kitchen knives, generally need sharpening every 1 to 3 months. If honing with a steel rod, you may need to have it sharpened more often to fix your blade from dents and chips.
What’s the difference between Sharpening and honing?
Sharpening removes metal to create a new edge, while honing realigns the existing edge without removing much material. However, I do not use a grinder to sharpen most items. What I use only resurfaces the edge and does not remove much material at all, thereby saving the integrity of your tools.
